    - Now in a couple of the previous videos I've mentioned mantras and I just want to explain a bit more about them. What you say to yourself is incredibly important because your thoughts are habits which repeat, and these habits become your words and your actions as well. So they become your life. How you think determines your life, and you can choose how you think, particularly if you repeat phrases to yourself they become ingrained. So a mantra is a positive statement that you repeat to yourself using exactly the same words every time until you become so bored with it that it has become drilled into your subconscious. If you think about it, the idea of saying something to yourself is rather odd. Who is saying it to who? Are there two people in there? Well, yes, in a way there are. There's the conscious brain, which is the part doing the talking and the subconscious brain, which only listens. But it's the subconscious brain which generates your emotions and most of your actions. So…
