  1. Switch AutoCAD profiles (Options menu>Profiles tab)

    - [Instructor] Let's begin our work with parts list by creating a parts list. The first thing you want to do though before you even think about creating a parts list is to make sure you have the right catalog set as the current catalog. Now the way to do that if you have no pressure network parts in the drawing at all, is to click the Modify tab of the ribbon, expand Design, and then click Pressure Pipe Network. And what that will do is reveal the parts list menu and from here you'll find the set pressure network catalog command. When I click that, there are two parts to it. First is the catalog folder, and I'm going to allow mine to be set to the default location. Which is on my hard drive, but if in your company or organization, if you have a centrally stored catalog, you may need to browse to a server location to get this. So you'll definitely want to check with your cad manager or bim manager, or the person who manages that type of thing in your office to make sure you're pointing…
